The program consists of a variety of services and activities, which include, but are not limited to, individual and group counseling, parent and teacher consultation, classroom guidance lessons, referral assistance to other programs and services in the community, and student assessment. A major portion of the counselor's day consists of services for students. Parent and teacher consultations are usually scheduled in the early morning before classes or during after-school hours.
